Runaway Adventures

Hughenden Park 22 April 2023

What a fantastic day helping out at Runaway Adventures Hughenden Races on Saturday.

Not only did I get to catch up with Chris, the race director, but I had a chance to catch up with a few familiar faces too!

As usual, the atmosphere before, during and after the races was great.

Plus it was the first race, where the winners 🏆 of the half marathon received a gift voucher for a 1:1 nutrition coaching with me.

I myself have raced couple of their 50km ultras which are perfect for those stepping up to ultra distance for the first time. But also for seasoned ultra runners looking to challenge themselves on some gnarly hills.

Their races are low key and the team are super friendly!

So give Runaway Adventures a follow and check out their race and social runs calendar.

Mission Accomplished

London Marathon Expo 19 - 22 May 2023

I had the pleasure of spending two days at the London Marathon Expo with the lovely @mission.uk folk.

They were in need of helpers for their stand and since I’m a big fan of their product I was keen to help out.

I was excited to help raise awareness of this fantastic brand and get people to sample their performance teas.

Tom and Ellie, et.al were so much fun to hang out with. It made both days fly by!

I’ve been a customer for a number of years now, drinking Mission teas daily.

Mission teas are part of my hydration solution. Not only for training and racing but for my everyday hydration as well.

You’ll hardly ever catch me without a bottle of Energise or Recover teas.

And I always carry Hydrate sachets in my bag where ever I go.

If you’re like me and love supporting small businesses whose products are top quality and do what it says on the tin (or pouch in this case 😬 ), then give them a follow and check out their product range!

The National Running Show

Birmingham, The NEC, 21-22 January 2023

What a fantastic weekend at the National Running show back in January 🔥

On Saturday, I had the absolute pleasure of taking part in the @running.at.40plus panel alongside Becky Lyne, Lewis Moses and Carl Ryde hosted by Martin Hopkinson and Jo Pavey!

Then on Sunday, I got to talk all things nutrition and running on the Saucony stage, again joined by Jo Pavey and Martin Hopkinson.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to listen and came to have a chat afterwards 🙏

It was a pleasure to support @running.at.40plus at their stand throughout the weekend. Thank you for having me!

The National Running Show was an excellent opportunity for networking, keeping up to date with new products, watching inspirational talks and meeting some of my all-time running heroes!
